first visit
patient experience
“Philosophy of our Website”
- Facilitate communication between our office and our referring doctors’ offices.
- Offer superior patient information
- Make our jobs easier and what we do better.
Your initial appointment will consist of an examination. During this appointment, Dr. Johnson will determine precisely what type of treatment will need to be performed, if any. He will want to examine you as well as review your medical history with you. Types of medications being taken or history of health issues may determine what, when and how a procedure is performed. A call to your referring dentist or physician may need to be placed at this time as well.
Once treatment is confirmed, Dr. Johnson may offer options as to how treatment is performed. This is all confirmed on the first appointment so that all parties will know what to expect for your surgery appointment. At this point then, a second appointment will be made to provide treatment on a subsequent day.
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your examination:

- A list of medications you are presently taking.
- Names and contact information for any dental or medical doctors whom you are currently under the care of
- Patient registration forms. These can either be mailed to you at the time that you schedule your examination appointment, or you can fill this information into our online forms. This will save time during your first visit.
